Call for abstracts
DEADLINE EXTENDED! Please submit abstracts by 30 June 2017 - applicants will be notified of the outcome.
The annual Australasian Tropical Health Conference will be this year held on 9 – 11 September in Cairns, Queensland at the Cairns Hilton, with the theme Asia-Pacific Collaborations in Tropical Disease. The program will focus on the Burden of Disease and Methodological Platforms. The following topics will be covered:
- Chronic Disease
- Infectious Diseases
- Health systems
- Infectious Disease Modelling
- Big Data
- Health Economics
The Scientific Committee of the 2017 Australian Tropical Health Conference invites abstracts to be considered, for presentations based upon empirical studies.
A number of national and international keynote speakers, including: Professor Alan Lopez, University of Melbourne; Professor Eddie Holmes, University of Sydney; Professor Simon Kelly, University of Canberra; Dr Willie Pomat, PNG Institute of Medical Research; Professor Stephen Jan, George Institute for Global Health; Professor Ian Atkinson, James Cook University; Professor Uriel Kitron, Emory University; Professor Ben Cooper, University of Oxford, and Dr Ben David, DFAT will be speaking.
