Applications are now open for participants to this fun and challenging event. We are seeking applications from women who work in any of the Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine fields (STEMM), of all career stages and background.
Soapbox Science (soapboxscience.org) is a UK-based science outreach organisation that promotes the visibility of women in science and brings cutting edge research onto urban streets. We place inspirational female scientists on soapboxes where they can engage with the public about their research.
The first ever Australian event was held last year in Brisbane and was a resounding success, with hundreds of visitors, and media coverage.
We would encourage you to apply to present at this great event.
