The Northern Queensland Health Atlas is an online interactive platform presenting population, health status, hospital utilisation, workforce, health care provision and service location data in map form.  The draft map is now available for project partners and stakeholders for feedback. Click on the button below to access the map.  Please note: Due to the map file size, it may take a few minutes to load.

Guide to the Atlas


Address search – quickly go to a town by entering the name in the search bar.

Attribute table – displays the data table of the variable you are currently viewing.

Charts – list of charts available.

Home – defaults back to the NQ level map.

Legend – defines the colours or symbols of the chosen layers.

Map zoom – zoom in and out of the map to see more or less detail.

Menu bar – lists all map layer options grouped into categories. Lists will appear in pop-up boxes.

Project Info – brief description of the project and links for further information.
