Papua New Guinea Institute for Medical Research

AITHM and the Papua New Guinea Institute for Medical Research signed a Memorandum of Understanding in December 2013. This biomedical and medical sciences collaboration relates to PNG’s priority health problems and will focus on tuberculosis and neglected tropical diseases. Research collaboration will have a particular emphasis on molecular epidemiology, immunology, pathophysiology, genetics and intervention trials, including plans for future vaccine trials.
